Coral Reef sa Boracay posibleng sumailalim sa rehabilitation

Image result for coral reefs sa boracayPosible umanong sumailalim sa rehabilitation ang mga nasirang coral reefs sa isla ng Boracay ayon sa report mula sa Department of Environment and Natural Resources (DENR) Region 6.

Ito’y matapos magkaroon ang DENR ng underwater assessment sa pitong kilalang diving sites sa isla na kinabibilangan ng Coral Garden, Angol Point, Friday’s Rock, Laurel Island, Channel Drift, Bulabog Reef (Laguna de Boracay) at sa Yapak.

Nabatid na ilan sa mga korales sa isla ay nagkaroon ng damaged dahil sa sinasabing naapektuhan ito ng diving activities.

Dahil dito may hakbang na rin umano ang DENR para maisaayos ang mga nasabing coral reefs sa tulong ng mga stakeholders kung kinakailangan.
