Total phase out na ang operasyon ng mga natitirang tricycle na nag ooperate sa isla ng Boracay simula Oktubre 1, 2020.

Nagpaalala ito sa mga tricycle driver/operators na wala ng extension at hanggang katapusan na lang ng Setyembre phase out na ang lahat ng operasyon ng tricycle sa isla.
Iginiit nito na full implementation na ang etrike program sa buwan ng Oktubre.
Kung matatandaan dapat katapusan pa sana ng Desyembre 2019 ang impelentasyon ng etrike program subalit dahil sa bagyo at sa kinakaharap na COVID-19 pandemic ng bansa ngayong taon ay ipinagpaliban muna ito ng bayan ng Malay
Samantala, sa naging panayam kay Cesar Oczon, Senior Malay Transportation Regulation Officer MTRO, sa 538 na may tricycle franchise sa isla ng Boracay nasa 454 na dito ang naka apply ng aplikasyon at mahigit kumulang 84 na lang ang hindi pa nakakapag proseso ng aplikasyon para sa etrike program.
